my friend is going to do this but she actually has anorexia so I am scared for her health. Anyone got any advice so I can convince her out of it. She is addicted to weight loss and exercise 5 hours a day. There is nothing wrong with that but all she lives on is vegetables and fruits. She is also in therapy for her anorexia so please help with things to convince her out of it.

II started 2 weeks ago today and have lost 13.5 pounds! I might have lost more if I followed it 100% faithully. My wife and I are doing it together, but she has only lost 5. I understand that men typically loose weight faster than women. Not a bad diet. You gotta like chicken, turkey and fish, which are my 3 least favorite meats. However, I am learning to eat and and enjoy them. Good luck to you on this diet, though I don’t think luck is needed.
@chelseaheartsu321 You know absolutely nothing about my exposure or knowledge of this book so please don’t assume you do just by reading a few sentences of a YouTube comment. FYI, I have been teaching nutrition, health and fitness for 25 years, so you’re going to have to come at me with something a whole lot more substantial than “don’t knock it till you try it” if you want me or anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of basic nutritional scientific principles.
@realeyz dont knock it till you try it this is really easy and DOES teach longterm fitness health and weight control if u actually read the book and do it not just watch a youtube video
@wholoveskitty im almost done the accelerate cycle and trust me your body will be just getting use to this cleanse within the first few days. But once youve done it for a few day it becomes really easy and u r completely full at every meal. i have noticed that my appitite is not as huge as it use to be. My whole family is doing it and i have already lost 8 pounds and my mom has lost 11 ( & we r not even through the first cycle) so just hold on it gets better!!!

Despite what you read, despite what is being said, I am telling you there are few calories, very little food and I am so hungry I could eat my hand. I have no energy at all. My stomach feels like it is folding up on itself. If anything changes, I will correct my statement. But this is day two so far.
this is just Atkins with some fruit added……and Atkins DOES work. This dude is obviously loading up on carbs…macaroni, sugar here..sugar there…rice. You really don’t need meal plans. Some foks use Christmas Clubs so it forces them to save money…this is no different. High carb and starchy foods are just bad for most people…and even the young folks who can eat all they want tend to hit the carb wall in mid-life. Read Gary Taube’s “Why We Get Fat” and you’ll get all the answers.

@zvezdochka18 Sorry but you shouldn’t be losing more than 3 pounds a week. A family doctor will tell you that. If I was a skinny person and I ate pizzas, donuts and fast food all the time, it won’t take me 17 days to become overweight. The amount of time it took you to become overweight should be equivalent to the amount of time it takes you to lose it. Rapid weight loss is not healthy. Talk to your family doctor before you attempt your weight loss goal. I lost 60 pounds in 14 months…
I am on my first day of the 17 day diet phase 1 Accelerate, the recipes and list of food you can eat is pretty good for the first phase which is a cleanse. Best of luck to everyone else on it too!
