Im planning on starting a programme of heavy weights but dont enjoy cardio too much just want to get ripped really, can anyone recommend any tips

technically yes!
the more muscle u build the more the body will burn calories more effectively

though it would help if u do cardio exercise after lifting weights…
u would burn fat even quicker…

but ok first just lift the weights 5-6 days a week
eat less carbs more proteins..
see how it goes…. then u can always add cardio in 2x a week 30 mins

Ok im reaching end of puberty im 6.1 ft tall wear size 30 jeans comfortable fit men (AU) slender build and weight about 73 kilos i have always had a low metabolism so i dont pick up weight but my farthers heritage is giving me suble growth in the breasts (manboobs) and i want to stope them b4 they get a chance to get prominent i also want to tone my abs and durability at the same time i need a healthy Tone Detox plan for gaining muscle without doing damage or hurting myself in anyway and i want to shy away from drugs

wait till ur 18 before you do tht stuff, i know sum1 who started at 14 and now he stunted his bone and height growth, wait till ur fully grown then do, also you dont want to mess with your body, say you were meant to be built when you got 18 but you work out now and you get messed up muscles, wouldnt that suck??

I’m currently doing cardio 3 times a week coupled with power strength training twice a week. I used to eat good carbs (like multi grain bread, wheat and granola cereal, etc) and have lost 15kg in the past 6 months with about 10% of body fat down. Recently one health instructor I met told me that going on low carb is even better and I’ll lose weight even faster. I have since then (for about a week now) been on a low carb and it feels weird to be on a low carb, high fat & protein Tone Detox since I’ve been on a low fat Tone Detox for some time. I’ve also been researching and it seems low carb diets are unhealthy. Is this true? Pls advise. Thanks.

Low carb diets become unhealthy when you are extremely restricting them from your Tone Detox because you carbs are essential for some of the functions in your body. What you used to eat was good.

As long as you’re keeping your protein up while doing a low carb Tone Detox, you shouldn’t lose muscle. You should worry about losing muscle when you decrease protein because with the low carb Tone Detox, you body will start using muscle for energy because there are no stored carbs to use anymore.

Your instructor is right that going on a low carb Tone Detox will help you lose weight fast..but from what people say, you gain the weight back when you’re off the the extremely low carb Tone Detox.

To lose body fat, you should up the cardio and keep a close eye on your Tone Detox. Lower carb intake, but don’t take them out of your Tone Detox. Eat 6 small meals a day to keep the metabolism running high. It’s good that you’re doing strength training. Muscle burns calories.

Hi, I’m 28, Female, 5’3, 123-125 lbs. I am a runner, I train and run in two 1/2 marathons per year. With all this running I cannot seem to cut the fat off my body. I am hungry all the time when I am running and seem to crave sugar and junk, i never gain weight but i never lose it either. I am inspired by women that are very fit and lean. I do NOT want giant, and very pronounced muscles. I want to look fit, toned and sexy. My weight lifting consists of boy-pushups 2 sets of 20, and crunches-leg lifts-plank. Could someone help me get started on Tone Detox and an excersize plan or point me in the direction of a great site to visit? Supplements?

Your described body measurements give me the impression that you’re actually quite alluring already and it would be a shame and a crime if anyone kicked you out of bed based on what you’re telling us.

The only advice I’d give you is to get more disciplined with cutting out the junk and sweets immediately after intense exercise. Just don’t eat it. You’ve already demonstrated that you’ve got the exercise goals within your grasp…just expand it to your food intake.

Another thing; you didn’t really describe in sufficient detail your exercise regimen. You said you trained for two half-marathons in a year, but that leaves a large amount of time not accounted for. Are you running regularly? How much?

Cross training by bicycling can also benefit you. 2-2 and a half hours of intense bicycling can burn almost as many calories as running, depending on your average running speed.

I want to gain lean muscle and i have been lifting weights, but i wont be able to see the muscle since i have some fat covering my muscle up. Im going to start doing cardio again (i stopped for a litle bit because i hurt my thigh). my question is how much cardio should i do to lose the weight so i can see my muscles? Is everyday ( 4miles ) too much or should i do it every other day? thanks!

Some people say to do the weights and cardio on different days but some say different. I say that everybody’s body is different and you have to find what suits your body. If 4 miles is too much for you at this moment, start small and work up. I believe the best way to lose weight and gain lean muscle is to do cardio and weights at the same time. Don’t over do it, and take a day off.

I have some belly fat that I want to get rid of. But I also want to build muscle at the same time. What kind of Tone Detox should I follow? I was thinking low-carb and high-protein but I am worried if the low-carb hurts the muscle building and the high-protein will add more fat in the waist region. Please suggest. I am doing weight training and cardio every day. I am 31 male and average built. Thanks.

Eat your biggest meal one hour after training, eat another meal one hour after the previous meal, All other meals are smaller with less carbs.
